The Sustainable Green Bag With Golden Touch.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy Wabi Sabi and actually kind of living the Wabi Sabi life for many years, these awesome bags made of re-used canvas were born in 2021. The canvas from Dutch army clothing from the '80/'90's, has been repaired with gold paste. Decorating damaged parts with gold paste is based on the gold repair in the Japanese Kintsugi tradition of ceramics, which is similar to Wabi Sabi.
Literally illuminate the scars of life. Every item is unique. Spots and little bumps are characteristic for the brand.
The handles are made of old leather belts or vegetable tanned saddle leather offcuts. So each bag has its own colour handles (from light brown to black).
