Mixed Media old pictures acrylic paint and gel pencil on vintage cardboard
One of the most special places from my youth where my imagination awoke…. I spent hours around the little peaceful lake with fishes and salamanders.
Around 1900 a poor family ‘Schaapherder’ used to live in a shed at the lake shore; the wife’s name was ‘Mie’. She earned some money by modelling for Dutch painters based in Laren, The Netherlands those days. The shed had been removed in the late 60’s, unfortunately… but you can still feel what was there long time ago, still now.
Including vintage wooden frame.
